Hey, I'm Mat
Yes, just one 'T' - blame the parents. Something to do with spelling it the Welsh way! Life’s exciting right now - I’ve been with my girlfriend Emma for four years, and we’re just buying our first house together in Southam. Balancing work, training, and life isn’t always easy, but I thrive on it, and I love helping clients do the same.
Fitness isn’t just my job, it’s my passion. I’ve been motivated by health and training for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been working in the fitness industry since graduating from Leeds University in 2017 with my degree in Sport & Exercise Science. I’ve built my career helping people get stronger, fitter, and more confident and nothing beats seeing a client smash a goal they never thought possible.
I train every day, run every day, and love pushing both myself and my clients to new levels. I make sure training is fun, challenging, and results-driven - no boring routines, no fluff. The hardest part of my job is the constant need for social media content. Fitting that in when running a business, personally training, and life in general is challenging.

I stick to my macros most of the time, fueling my days with protein and carbs, but I’m not afraid of the odd food binge or cheeky drink - who doesn't love a pizza and a beer? Balance is key, and I believe you can still enjoy life while crushing your goals.
Outside the gym, I’m a big animal lover, a huge drum and bass fan, and I’m always getting out for a run whenever I can. I love doing the latest new fitness challenges, which balances my guilty pleasure of the occasional Five Guys! Follow my socials and you will see some of the crazy challenges I do.
I make fitness fun. With my qualifications, experience, and hands-on approach, I’ll help you get to where you want to be, while making the process enjoyable. No boring routines, just proper progress, accountability, and a good laugh along the way.

MY COMMITMENT
My commitment is simple: to make fitness enjoyable, achievable, and effective for anyone willing to put in the work. I want to guide you to be consistent, without forcing you into boring routines or extreme diets. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or chasing your personal best, I am here to stremline the process for you and create a positive environment where progress is guaranteed and fun is never optional.
MY AIMS
My long term aim is to build a community that views fitness as a natural part of life, not a task to get through. I aim to help people build habits that last, push themselves with confidence, and realise that progress and enjoyment can sit side by side. I want the impact to go beyond the gym, supporting people to make better daily choices, feel stronger in themselves, and live in a way that feels active, motivated and sustainable.
